The main standard for the hotel industry regarding the revenue per available room will increase by 1.8 per cent next year to  £43.44, this is not as good when compared to inflation however it shows some sign on stability in the hotel industry. There are 12,600 hotels in the United Kingdom with 633,000 rooms total; further 20,000 rooms are expected to open in about 200 hotels in 2013 and 2014.
